Project Quantum : The future of PC gaming

With the advancement in the VR technology, AMD has also taken a leap in pushing forward  the  PC gaming into next level by unveiling its new project : PROJECT QUANTUM in its annual conference titled "A new era of  PC Gaming "The thing which has been focused mainly is to provide  an immersive gaming performance in a single system.

Project Quantum - A small form factor dual stacked gaming rig that boasts an absolutely stunning build design  having processing power of 17 Teraflops. It promises to deliver cutting edge performance featuring  4K resolutions  at 60 frames per second and VR potency  taking the gaming experience to a next level;thanks to the pair of terrific FIJI R9 FURY X GPU's which is enough to have  VR experiences . The  main reason behind the usage of the GPU is that it has High Bandwidth  Memory which reduces the power requirements  . AMD has also used the Intel core i7 processor to run such an powerful system.

Meanwhile taking a look at its design the dual chambered case is noteworthy then rest of SFF PCs  and its look creates an illusion as if the cooling chamber is floating above the rest of hardware due to the cubic designs on the 2nd chamber and the body is made of magnesium and black painted aluminum and is lightened with red LED's. It doesnt just gets in with its cool design but also aims at managing the thermal activity taking place inside the system . Large copper blocks sit on the CPU and GPUs in the bottom chamber which cools down the GPUs and the processor. They are linked  up through a “chimney” in the center of the case and into a massive radiator in the top chamber. where a fan quietly eliminates the unwanted heat.

It would be shipped with Microsoft Windows 10 and DirectX 12,  and should available within the fourth quarter. Pricing is unknown at this stage, but is predicted to be at a premium price.
